Resistance Bands: Full Workout

woman bands lunge

If you’re not already familiar with Resistance Bands, you should get to know them.

They are an inexpensive but great source of smooth, constant tension on your targeted muscles. And they are very versatile.

Below, you can see a quick video I put together that takes you through a 4 day Full Body workout in less than 2 minutes. It’s just a demonstration, so I sped up the clips 2X to keep things moving. Yeah, I look kind of ridiculous, but I hate videos that move too slowly.

You’ll get the point of each exercise.

We’re all about helping older men and women defy age and rebuild the muscle that time is taking away from us. So, if I look a little silly, it’s for a good cause.

Inexpensive & a great alternative to machines and weights

The real point is — you don’t have to let finances hold you back from working out. You can get a quality set of Bands for between $10 and $50. Many carry lifetime warranties and let you return them for full refunds. So, no excuses here.

And you really can do a satisfying full body workout with them. I use them even though I have a fully-loaded home gym. Nothing gives smoother, constant tension than a Resistance Band.

Most sets include hand straps, ankle straps and door anchors for creating a variety of exercises. Some include more items. But any of the sets you’ll see in my reviews below will give you a full body workout.

Check out my review of several types here. If you click on any of them, it will take you to Amazon for more details. You can easily find many more types while there, as well.

Ok, here’s the workout video. No laughing 🙂

I've been resistance training for nearly 50 years. As a younger man, I used to believe in using ever-increasing amounts of weight. Until one day in my mid-50's, my aching joints could not take the punishment any more. I had to develop a new way of working out that was effective, but free of pain. I found it. It works great. I'd like to share it with you.
